THERE IS NO FEAR IN LOVE; BUT PERFECT LOVE CASTETH OUT FEAR; BECAUSE FEAR HATH TORMENT.  HE THAT FEARETH IS NOT MADE PERFECT IN LOVE.  1 JOHN 4:18 Have you ever started to step out in faith and, even at the thought of it, felt fear rising up in you?  It happens to everyone, but it is important to realize that the source of fear is Satan. Satan doesn't want you to do what god wants you to do and receive all that  God has for you, so he sends fear to try to torment you into being doubtful and miserable.  Fear is an evil spirit that hinders progress. But you can live without fear by building your faith on what God has said in His Word.  There is great power in confessing the Word of God. So when Satan attempts to torment you with fear, confess what the Word says -- that the Lord is with you and "will not fail you or forsake you" (Deuteronomy 31:6).  Take steps of faith even if you have "do it afraid".  --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------THE LORD SAID TO ABRAM, GO ...AWAY FROM YOUR COUNTRY, FROM YOUR RELATIVES AND YOUR FATHER'S HOUSE, TO THE LAND THAT I WILL SHOW YOU.GENESIS 12:1 How would you feel if God told you to leave your home, your family, and everything that is familiar and comfortable and head out to who knows where? That is the challenge Abram faced, and it frightened him.  But God kept saying to him, "Fear not".  That's the same message He gave to Joshua when He called to lead the children of Israel to the promised land. You want to wait until you're not afraid before you do anything before you do anything, but if you do that, you will accomplish very little for God.  Abram and Joshua had to step out in faith and obedience to do what God had commanded them to do -- and they had to to do it afraid.  They took "steps of faith" even though they had "feelings of fear".  That's what you will have to do to accomplish the job God wants you to do.  But He'll be with you, saying, "Fear not". --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------THESE ARE (STILL) IN THE WORLD ...(BUT) THEY ARE NOT OF THE WORLD....JUST AS I AM NOT OF THE WORLD...KEEP AND PROTECT THEM FROM THE EVIL ONE.JOHN 17:11, 14-15 People in the world are under such intense pressure they are often hurried, rude, short-tempered, and frustrated.  They experience financial and marital stress and the stress of raising children in a changing and uncertain world.  Because of mental stress on the job and physical stress from overwork and frayed nerves, some people seem to be time boms on the verge of explosion. As a believer, you do not need to succumb to the  stress that affects people who do not know Jesus as their Savior.  You do not have to operate in the world's system. God has provided ways for you to live in the world without being affected by that type of stress.  Jesus is the Prince of Peace, and following the leading of the Holy  Spirit will always lead you to peace and joy, not to anxiety and frustration
