With me having three men in the house I bet you were wandering. My husband mentioned last night that if gas prices get any higher its going to really start hurting everyone. I totally agreed, I have had to completely switch my budget around backwards. I now spend on gas what I used to spend in groceries and vice versa. I have also been taking advantage of my title as a "Stay at home mom", which I can only take for a couple more weeks before I will literally loose my mind. Therefore I have made the suggestion of Horse and Buggy. Can you believe he laughed at me!(haa haa. What! Is there another way? Sell the car and get a horse. Ok maybe this is not a good suggestion, but what do we do? I know this is not a question that can be answered, and really there is nothing to do, but if anyone has a horse for sale let me know. ha ha ha

I think the horse idea is brilliant.  My husband suggested that awhile ago and also pointed out that we would no longer have to cut the grass  I noticed that gas actually went down in price today.  Yesterday it was $3.42 and today it's $3.37.  How much is it where everyone else lives?

A co-worker mentioned today that soon it's going to be too expensive to have a job.  That's an interesting thought!  Azure, I know how you feel, I spent $50 filling up my van the other day.  The sad thing is that will only last a week!  Maybe if we all did quit driving, gas prices would go down.  Plus, I don't think that I could ride my bike further than the end of my driveway!  I would pass out!

Hi Laura,

I agree!! I put $40 in the car yesterday and it didn't even fill it up. I still would have needed to put another $15-$20 to do that.

I like the horse/buggy and bike idea. Could you see me in the afternoon going to West Terre Haute to get Austin from school with either of those and a truck load of kids (ok only 2 until Sept and then 3) strapped on somewhere. I'd probably be happy with my figure if I did that!!!! Hmmmm!

OK, I got a bike for Mother's Day. It may come to riding to work every day.

That's not so bad until it gets really hot. Arriving at work all sweaty is not a pleasant thought. Maybe I'll look into a Moped!!!!

It's a good thing I only live a couple of miles from work!!!!
