Well, I'm Azure, 32 in August. I have a son that will be 14 in September, he lives with us. My husband, of soon to be 6yrs, and I have 2 daughters 3 and 20 mo and another one due Sept 1st.

My name is Alexi and I'm 25 years old. 6 years ago, I married a man with a 2 year old son. That son is now nine years old! He only lives with us part time but I enjoy every minute of it! I couldn't ask for a better step-son! My husband and I also have an almost 4 year old son, a nine month old daughter and another baby due December 3rd! So far, it's been a fun ride! I love being a Mom!

Hi,
My name is Angi, 35 years old, I have two great kids, Xantha 16 and Stefano 13. Six years ago I married my best friend John...He has two girls of his own, Acacia 24 and Halie 20. It was hard at first to blend our families, with different parenting styles and the like, but I think we might almost be there. Xantha is the only baby we have at home now. Stefano lives with his dad through the school year and then with us in the summer. I am excited to hear how many of you have worked the kinks out of being a BLENDED FAMILY.

I am Bridget, I have been married to my husband Chad for 5 years, he has a son Jacob who is 12, we also have a 14 month old and a 3 month old. Jacob lives primarily with his mom and he is with us, every other weekend, alternating holidays and then 2 weeks in the summer. I am also interested to see how others handle situation with rules in each household.

Hi,
I am Anna.I have 3 kids from my first marriage.My hub has 3 from his first.We have one together.Mine,his, and ours. My experience may be different from any of you.We have been married almost six years now and it is still very hard being a step mother.
Lots of people stereotype a stepmother as being wicked.Fairytales have it too. My stepkids are hard to deal with and their mother does everything possible to make it even harder.
My husband has joint custody with her so the kids are supposed to come here every other week.It does not always work out that way.They come when they feel like it or when she is fed up with keeping them for a long while. The kids and their mother are very manipulative and puts my husband in a corner everytime.
