Our Pets
Hi everyone..as a big big pet lover..I thought it'd be great for us to have somewhere to come share our stories of our furbabies. All pets are welcome just not the ones with fur..lol.
We have 8 pets in our home...7 Schnauzers and 1 Cat...believe me you..I have tons and tons of stories about our furbabies...I hope to not bore you all to death..I'll share slowly I promise..LOL

My Fur Bearing Children
Hi! Love this fun stuff! I have no children living in the house, but have always managed to surround myself with fur bearing creatures that have turned into my little children. When asked in forum one time what my favorite breed of dog was, my reply was "It's a rare breed and one not likely to show up in any dog show... It's spelled C A T...!! Baby, Sampson, Delilah and Lilo are my current buddies and I've just recently let in the back door, a new PREGNANT mommie that I'm hoping stays long enough so I can look after her and the new arrivals. ANYONE OUT THERE NEED A KITTEN OR TWO??? Ok... You've heard the beginning of my story... More later and I'll bring pics!

Aaawww soo nice to hear you are a cat lover...I've been raised around dogs my entire life..so I truly consider myself a "dog" person..BUT and I say a biggggggg BUT...until we took in Pepper a neighborhood stray that the teenagers got and virtually left for dead..we took her in..and $100's of dollars later - we and the vets nursed her back to health..today she is no longer a "street" cat but a very happy, FAT house cat...you may ask what all my schnuazers think of her..or I should say..what she thinks of them..Well let's put it this way..they want to know why..she doesn't look like them...and why she's sooo grouchy..and well I'm sure Pepper thinks..well heck..why should I interact with you..you certainly don't look like me..and why are you soooooo happy and goofy looking...maybe if you meowed instead of those loud barks..you'd have a chance of hanging out with me..LOL LOL...anywhoo..I love all your babies names...I can't wait to see them all...thanks sooo much for joining my group..looking forward to getting to know you..

My little Lilo
I just posted a picture of Lilo on my page, and going to try to do it here too.... This little guy, well, ok, he's not little anymore... but he was one of two, Lilo and Stitch, two little kittens who had been abused and found at a gas station. Stitch didn't make it, but Lilo and I have been best friends for a couple of years now. He's just precious. (Don't tell the other cats, but he's my favorite)!

I have a picture of my fur baby on my page...her name is Sadie and she's a chihuahua terrier. I just love her to death, she's my middle age "baby". I adopted her about 6 years ago froma rescue. She had been abused and had spent most of her life in a small metal cage. She had broken teeth and was so skinny and scared. She's now a bit on the pudgy side and is pretty much attached to my side. My husband says I should have named her Velcro. LOL. She is about 10 lbs.

Velcro! How funny! Isn't it so sad how some people treat their animals? I just shake my head in unbelief... There should be NO selling of domesticated animals until we all learn how to take care of the ones we have! So GOOD FOR YOU, taking in a rescued dog! All my cats are God sent... When one leaves this world, God just sends another!

Lauren..how cute your baby is...sooo funny..because I have 7 schnuazers who are terriers..so I've never seen a mix of a chihuahua and a terrier - sooo cute..
BTW...our of our 7 we have one girl..and her name is Sadie also...lol
