Getting ready

Well, Summer is almost over. Almost all of the kids are back in school now. We don't officially start until the day after Labor Day. So I have curriculum on the way, I'm finishing up things around the house that won't get done after school starts (like cleaning out closets and cupboards), and enjoying our last few TV shows that are on during school hours. Though the summer has provided many learning experiences that I will write down as field trips like: the Indy museum, blueberry picking, bug shows at the library. Plus we have done crafts and experiments including our most recent and ongoing, each of the boys have caterpillars that have now gone into chrysalises, and should hatch in about 9-14 days. They are monarchs, then we will set them free to watch them fly. cool huh?

Gabe is getting ready to start football. He is very excited about this. We go through the YMCA for this. It is flag, but I told him he can do tackle next year. Michael Likes to go to football too  because there are alot of bugs and butterflies to catch. We love the fall.

Anyway if anyone has anything to share or any questions bring it on.

Laura
