I use supplements
I'm not trying to make a sales pitch or anything....Shaklee is my home business so obviously I use their products. I'm only speaking out of what I know Shaklee does have some great supplements. I believe everyone in the world should be taking at least a multivitamin, and to be honest, you get what you pay for. If you want to buy the cheap bottle of vitamins at the store, you're not going to actually absorb what they say is in the vitamin. I encourage everyone to do their research when it comes to supplements. Find clinical studies on vitamins that prove that you're really going to absorb what they say on the bottle. Anyway, so I love Shaklee's vitamins. I even take them instead of prenatal vitamins. They also have excellent sports nutrition supplements: a sports drink (like Gatorade but better for you), a recovery drink, protein bars, carb bars. I'm an Athletic Trainer so I know what athletes need. Here again, do your research on this stuff. Shaklee has tons of clinical studies done on all their products. I even did my own study last year on one of Shaklee's protein powders vs. the leading brand at GNC (I called them and asked what their best seller was). My research showed that Shaklee's was far better in the amount of vitamins and amino acids as opposed to the leading brand at GNC. I could go on and on about this stuff. I love nutrition and exercise!

supplements
Glad to see another fitness professional on board here :-) I don't use shaklee products but have heard of them. I am an Arbonne Rep. But I do agree with you about buying at the chain stores! You have to be so careful about doing so. There is so much crap out there claiming to do crazy things!!!

I've been on Shaklee products now for over 15 years.I've recently notices that they have reformulated some of their products. They have changed their mega calcium, and I have noticed that it doesn't agree with my stomach anymore. I spoke with my distributor about this, and she assures me,that it was only a minor change, but, I can't take the new calcium/ Has anyone else experienced this ? I'm trying a calcium from GNC right now,but too early to make an opinion. No ill,or adverse effects so far.I really need calcium, and I'm so ad that Shaklee reformulated theirs. Why fix it,if it isn't broken ? Would appreciate any comments,or advise. Thanks, Mr_Mom
